At the golf repair center, we get excited about helping the next generation of players to love the game of golf and play it well. We believe it is vitally important for junior golfers to play with clubs that are fit to their unique physical make-up and swing characteristics. As junior golfers continue to grow and get stronger, their clubs need to be adjusted right along with them if they are to play their best golf.
Club fitting for junior golfers incorporates our same proven process. We make sure the length of the club is correct so they can learn proper swing fundamentals early in their golfing career. As the golfer grows in stature, the length of the clubs will need to grow right along with them.
The physical attributes of junior golfers—height, weight, strength—can change dramatically from year-to-year. Their swing speeds, lie angle, face angle and angle of attack will all change as this happens; necessitating the clubs be adjusted to account for these changes. Club changes and adjustments are needed more frequently for juniors than with adults. We often will build with some growth/swing speed changes in mind and try to get multiple years out of the equipment. Clubs can be lengthened, loft/lied, re-shafted and regripped as needed.
Having better distance, accuracy and increased confidence with each club can help shave strokes off of scores.
